Corruption Again Exposed as WEC Continues Violation of State and Federal Election Law
In an article on October 22, 2026, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Columnist Hope Karnopp cites Meagan Wolfe, the Wisconsin Elections Commission Administrator, in her reporting that 500,000 voter registrations had been reviewed or “deactivated” over the last year.
On Wisconsin Outdoors asked GROK, the X social media platform’s Artificial Intelligence, the following question;
The Wisconsin Elections Commission (WEC) commonly uses the terms “active” and “inactive” to categorize voters. Are “active” and “inactive” found anywhere in Wisconsin election law?
GROK’s answer was;
No. Wisconsin election statutes use “eligible” and “ineligible” for voter registration status, not “active” and “inactive.” WEC has also stated that “Wisconsin law requires that there be an active and an inactive voter list,” but the underlying statutes use the eligible/ineligible terminology and do not use “active” or “inactive” for this classification.
For years Meagan Wolfe and the WEC, whose members include Don Millis, Marge Bostelmann, Ann Jacobs, Carrie Riepl, Bob Spindell, and Mark Thomsen have been violating state election law by using the terms active and inactive to describe what are in fact eligible or ineligible voters.
The WEC has done this to hide that it has been maintaining a single voter registration list that includes both eligible and ineligible voter names. As of October 26, 2026, that list totals 8.5 million names in a state with only 4.6 million voting aged citizens. The ineligible names on the list can be used by anyone with access to it, to create fraudulent ballots and steal elections.
This is why the WEC is also violating federal law and refusing to turn over their voter registration list to the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) for inspection as required by the Civil Rights Act of 1960. The WEC knows that if the DOJ inspects the list that they’re responsible for, it will find more than 4 million ineligible voter names on it.
Meagan Wolfe’s report that 500,000 voter registrations have been “deactivated” is meaningless and has no basis in the law. It is another shameless attempt to deceive Wisconsin’s citizens, and to protect herself from potential coming DOJ prosecution for knowingly allowing ineligible voters to participate in Wisconsin elections.

STONE vs. STONE
"POKING THE BEARS"
HOT President Dares the Wisconsin Elections Commission to Refer Criminal Charges Against Him
Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, HOT President Jay Stone filed a complaint against himself to give WEC a chance to charge him with voting as a disqualified voter. According to WEC, Stone’s $19.88 purchase of 78 predictive market shares for the November 3 gubernatorial election violates Wis. Stats. §§ 6.03(2) and 12.13(1)(a).
In his Stone v. Stone complaint, Stone confessed to WEC that he purchased 78 gubernatorial predictive market shares for $19.88 and voted in-person absentee on October 21. (See attached.) WEC Commissioner Ann Jacobs claimed, “You can vote. You can bet. You just can’t do both” put Jacobs’ ignorance of election law on full display. “Tell Ann Jacobs and WEC to Bring it,” Stone said. “When Ann Jacobs says betting on elections has disqualified voters since 1849, it proves Jacobs did not review the Wisconsin Constitution for WEC’s idiotic and unconstitutional guidance.” In 1986 voters repealed the Constitution’s voting disqualification for betting on elections by a margin of 4.8 to 1. The Constitution of the State of Wisconsin is the governing document for the state of Wisconsin, not WEC’s bogus guidance. Since the Constitution no longer excludes electors who bet on elections from voting, WEC cannot revoke Stone’s right to vote.
