And corporate counsel Michael Lanzdorf has turned a blind eye on the property transfers ?

Quite frankly, it was never about RRP not starting the homes, but rather gifting two homes (at a loss to RRP) to friends of Mason and Malicki.

Racine County took ten homes for unpaid taxes. In 2025 it gave all ten away, wrote off $600,278.71, and received nothing.  Episode Four follows the paper to see where they went. - September 2023: a nonprofit asks the Mayor and the County Treasurer for the ten homes, free of back taxes.

 - August 20, 2024: the Common Council accepts them on a voice vote. 

- March 25, 2025: The County Board approves the donation. The nonprofit's own tax filings list the County Treasurer on its board from 2018 through 2024. 

- December 12, 2025: The Mayor and the County Executive meet with the nonprofit's director.

 - February 10, 2026: a City official's email names who will receive houses.

 - February 18, 2026: one home is recorded as a gift. 

- By July 2026: seven of the ten have left the nonprofit. One was a gift, one went to a corporation, and five were sold for $180,000 in total. 

The nonprofit's director wrote that she "was forced to give them both away." That is her account, and you will see her emails on screen, in her words.

While not so distressed property's like Mayor Cory (Coryuption) Mason lakefront property have seen some significant drops in real estate taxes since his purchase in 2018.

How did Mayor Cory Mason's home value and taxes drop SO MUCH WHEN HE WAS ELECTED MAYOR IN FALL OF 2017 and BOUGHT A LAKE MICHIGAN SHORE HOME IN THE FEB OF 2018????

The neighbors on both sides of him also had unexplainable massive drop in property taxes after he was elected!

If you go more than 3 or 4 houses away from his home, they had taxed GO UP?

If you go to homes a block or 2 west, THEY ALL HAD AN INCREASE IN TAXES! How can an elected official buy a home just after his election and see his tax obligation drop from 23k tp 12k?!?!?!
