Former Racine Mayor John Dickert criminally charged with disorderly conduct

Criminal charges were filed today in Racine County Circuit Court against John Dickert for a road rage incident that ended in an altercation at the Piggly Wiggly parking lot on Washington Ave.

On March 22, 2020, Mt. Pleasant police were called to the Piggly Wiggly parking lot on Washington Avenue regarding a fight in progress. Mt. Pleasant police arrived at the scene and broke up the fight. Both John Dickert and Christian Reynoso were referred to the D.A's office with pending charges.
According to reports, both were treated at the scene by paramedics and released at the scene.

In videos acquired by RCC of the event, Dickert appeared drunk -  falling forward in the videos.

Dickert is represented by attorney Patrick Cafferty, whom had been exchanging information with the D.A's office regarding Dickert's altercation and physical assault upon 18 year old Christian Reynoso.

When attorney Cafferty was asked for a comment, he stated he would get back to us.
