Chris Schmaling, our elected Racine County Sheriff is moonlighting as a real estate agent in Florida for almost 6 months of the year.

Schmaling left the responsibility of running the Sheriff Department to Deputy Chief James Weidner who appears MIA. Weidner then delegated tasks to Captain James Evans & Captain Cary Madrigal.

Captain Cary Madrigal has been an active baker & volunteer for numerous organizations, especially around Union Grove which is admirable, but does not qualify her as being your next sheriff.

Captain Evans appears to be a bozo that believes any story told to him and changes work times on a whim. The 6-3-2026 incident of changing Captain Cary's work schedule after an hour into the work shift proves the point.
