In all fairness, I think Chris really did try to bring some sanity to election integrity in 2021,2 when the Racine Sheriff department did the investigation into the nursing homes when WEC illegally suspended the special voting deputies for the 2020 election.

Despite a quality investigation by Mike Luell & Attorney Erick Kaardal, the investigation first was undermined by WEC & D.A. Patricia Hanson, and then the incompetent, bias press.

Schmaling didn't have the support of D.A. Patricia Hanson, who refused to prosecute the WEC commissioners despite laws being clearly violated, something we now know about her.
Not only did Patricia Hanson go to great lengths to protect the corrupt Wisconsin Election Commission and its administrator Meagan Wolfe in 2020,1. D.A. Hanson went as far to protect the criminals afterwards by refusing to prosecute when WEC was exposed.
We see Hanson again & again playing dirty politics. Being D.A. Hanson has 1st hand information of Captain Madrigal's unethical campaign texting to 18 law enforcement deputies at 10:57 AM while on duty on 6-3-2026, Patricia Hanson gave Cary a free pass of violating Wisconsin statute 11.1207
According to our records, Hanson failed to act.
